Let's get down to Hockey Busniess!
09/26/2012 10:55
Enough of this Lockout crap, let's start talking hockey already! It seems like it's been forever since we've had the pleasure of watching the Penguins take the ice and it doesn't appear as though we'll be watching them anytime soon. Although talks are now scheduled for friday, little hope exists for a season to begin on time. Considering all pre-season games for the month of September have already been cancelled.
Despite all the the Lockout garbage, preparations for the season have begun! Many, but not all Penguins players (Some have signed with other...

End game, Pens season over
04/23/2012 10:19
Well that’s it, the nightmare of this playoff series is over. I’ll admit the #Pensin7 thing was fun, but not likely as the Flyers dominated game six leaving nothing but questions for the Penguins’ fans and organization.
I’ll be throwing out some radical ideas seeing as how we’ve spent thousands of dollars over the past three years for a team to become choke artists in the playoffs. If you’re a fair-weather fan or perhaps a bandwagoner maybe it’s time to step away and watch the Pirates lose, or maybe you can go wait for Steelers training camp to...
Pens extend season
04/21/2012 13:44
Wow, completely scary knowing the Flyers track record at CEC, knowing they could eliminate the Penguins.
But the crowd was on fire, as was the difference maker of the game.
Flower.
Man on a mission.
Flyers dominated play at times but for the first time this series a goaltender shut the door, and it was MAF.
Flyers were getting power play chances early and that is how they scored their only goals tonight, eventually taking a 2-1 lead. It has got to be scary for them...
10! 10! 10! 10!

Soooooo you're saying theres a chance??!?!
Pens laid the smack down when facing elimination.
Next game tomorrow in Pittsburgh, kind of scary the track record the Flyers have in CEC.
Here's what you did when Geno scored the 10th goal, I know I did.
Games 2 and 3 recaps

These can be summed up pretty easily:
Leave your Consol Bears at home. They did not work.
Pens lose 8-5
Huge, must win game for the Pens, in Philly, the only place they have had any success against the Flyers.
People getting tossed left and right, full on implosion at the end of the game.
Adams suspended for sure, Bylsma fined, Asham probably suspended, Neal with a hearing for further discipline tomorrow.
Pens lose 8-4
What is disappointing is the Penguins...
A season hanging in the balance
04/16/2012 09:50
Whether they can admit it or not the Pittsburgh Penguins season could be no more than 3 days from being over. After playing 3 horrific hockey games dating back to last Wednesday the Pens have merely 1 more chance to make something of this series. That chance will come on Wednesday @ 7:30pm in Philadelphia. In order to win even 1 game the Pens will need to make some serious changes and by changes I mean play THEIR game. Not this B.S game of run and gun hockey that the Flyers have mastered so well over the years but the fast paced shove the puck down your throat brand of hockey that won...
YOU BLEW IT! Pens lose
04/12/2012 14:04
In a game that had the buildup of a Superbowl the Consol Energy Center crowd was beyond pumped up for this, the first game of the first round of the 2012 NHL Playoffs against hated rivals the Philadelphia Flyers.
The Pens came out on fire, the Whiteout was kind of in effect, and three minutes in, Sidney Crosby got the scoring started.
Four minutes later Tyler Kennedy buried one past Bryz and the route was on.
In typical Laviolette/Flyers fashion they went down by two goals early and then called a timeout and just like...
Heat keeps adding on
04/10/2012 11:40
It seems like, right now, it is the Pittsburgh Penguins versus the world as another executive in the NHL has some non-positive comments towards the hockey club.
We all remember the past few weeks as Flyers coach called the Penguins “gutless” and was fined $10,000 for his comments, then virtually the next game Rangers Coach John Tortorella called Crosby and Malkin the “two whining stars from an arrogant organization” he was fined $20,000 for his efforts. Some words were also said by Flyers assistant coaches as well. Who can forget the Mike Milbury comments on...
Great season, now lets look ahead
04/09/2012 15:32
With the playoffs very soon to start I figured I would just ramble on my thoughts about the season and then the upcoming playoff matchup against the Flyers.
First, what a long, but quick, season. One that at times with all the injuries seemed like it would never end, but now the end is here, and the playoffs are looming. From all the ups and down, injuries, and comebacks, winning streaks and losing streaks, one thing that reigns true is this team, this year is persistent. The beginning half of the season it seemed like the Pens could never get past the...
